Alt Blk Era Inconjuction with Women Plus in Music

ALT BLK ERA + Pave + Kora Olivia
16 April 2027 | Corporation, Sheffield
Presented by GNK Events in conjunction with Women Plus in Music

ALT BLK ERA headline the first-ever Women Plus in Music showcase at Corporation, Sheffield, with support from Pave and Sheffield’s own Kora Olivia.

Winners of Best Alternative Music Act at the 2025 MOBO Awards and the New Artist award at Music Week’s 2025 Women in Music Awards, sisters Nyrobi and Chaya refuse to stick to one genre. Their sound brings together rock, alternative pop, drum & bass, rap and electronic beats, with their debut album Rave Immortal reaching No.1 on the UK Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart.

Beyond the music, the duo champion hidden disability awareness and inclusion in the music industry. Inspired by Nyrobi’s own experiences, these themes sit at the heart of Rave Immortal, making them a fitting headliner for our first Women Plus in Music showcase.

Joining them are Manchester’s Pave, fusing modern metal intensity with pop-laced melodies. An emerging band we’re excited to bring to Sheffield, they’re one to catch now before the rooms get bigger.

Opening the night is Kora Olivia. We caught her supporting Spectral and were blown away. We knew we wanted her on this bill, and she’s a great reason to get down to Corporation early.

£1 from every ticket sold will go to Women Plus in Music CIC, with further fundraising on the night to support women and marginalised genders in the music industry.

Tickets: £20 early bird, rising to £25 final release.
Age restriction: 14+; under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Three acts, one night, and a chance to support Women Plus in Music from the very first showcase.
