GNK Events

GNK Events is an independent live music promoter based in Sheffield, created to champion grassroots and emerging artists while delivering memorable, thoughtfully curated events.

We promote showcases, standalone gigs and special events across Sheffield and other UK cities. Our projects include the Stainless Steel Showcase, which takes Sheffield artists into new cities and introduces them to new audiences, alongside events supporting Women Plus in Music and other community and charitable causes.

Fairness and artist care are central to everything we do. We believe grassroots artists should be paid fairly and treated professionally, with clear agreements, transparent communication, appropriate hospitality and no commission taken from merchandise sales.

Accessibility is equally important. We aim to work with accessible venues, consider the needs of disabled artists and audience members from the beginning, and create welcoming events where people are treated with dignity and respect.

GNK Events is about more than putting bands on stage. We want to build lasting relationships between artists, venues and audiences while helping exciting new music reach the people who will love it.
