GO! Shop - Ikea

International@CampusLife welcomes you to join us to GO! Shop: Ikea

Please note this event is for students currently enrolled at Swansea University (and their friends / family) and is not open for bookings from the general public. A valid Swansea University Student Number will be required on booking

Date: Sunday 9th October 2022

Time: We’ll be making stops to pick you up at:

We’ll leave Ikea at 4pm. The journey takes about an hour, so we’ll be back in Swansea at around 5pm.

Description: Whether you’ve just arrived in Swansea for the first time or you’ve been here for years, chances are you might need to grab a few things to make life more comfortable. Come with us for a trip to IKEA!

If you don’t already know what IKEA is – it is a huge shop that sells everything that you need for the home, from warm blankets to cutlery and from plants to saucepans! Check their website out for some inspiration - Stylish Affordable Home Furniture & Accessories - IKEA

It is also famous for being very reasonably priced, so this is a good opportunity to purchase some things you might need for your new home in Swansea. Please be mindful that you’ll need to carry these items on the coach back, so we do not advise buying large pieces of furniture!

IKEA has a restaurant so you can eat while you’re there (the meatballs – and meatless balls - are known across the world!). The location of IKEA is close to several other large shops as well as a McDonalds and Starbucks, so it’ll be possible for you to visit these as well if you want - but make sure you are back to meet the coach on time.
