GO! Trip - Principality Stadium Behind-The-Scenes Tour & Cardiff

Hi there! Thanks for choosing to join us on a GO! Trip 3- Primcipality Stadium Tour & Cardiff on Wedntesday 6th July 2022

As a reminder, on the day:

We will be picking up at the following locations:

- Park Campus – Fulton House – 9:30am
- Parc Tawe, City Centre – 9:45am - https://goo.gl/maps/WWnVJQM3fMA8fTk68
- Bus Stops, Bay Campus – 10:00am

Please be prompt as any delay to departure will reduce the amount of time we have to spend in Cardiff. We will only delay departure a few minutes and only if you have advised us you are running late. You will get an email with our contact details before the trip.

The journey takes around 60 minutes - the location for drop off and pick up is directly outside the main entrance to the Principality Stadium – a location marker will be sent in a following email. We’ll leave at 5:00pm

If you don’t arrive for the departure time, we will assume you have chosen to stay behind and we will leave without you. Again, if you are running late, we may be able to delay departure by a few minutes, but only if you have advised us you are running late.
Please note arrival times both to the destination and on return to Swansea are approximate and may be subject to change depending on unforeseen circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, diversions due to accidents / road closures, technical and operational issues among others. The driver will do their best to keep you updated. We always recommend carrying a Power Bank with you as we cannot guarantee that coaches will have power supplies for passenger use.

We recommend bringing some small snacks and drinks for the ride – we won’t be stopping during the journey.

COVID-19: You must not attend this event if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, have been a close-contact and have not yet received a negative test result, or have been advised to self-isolate for any reason. Face masks are not mandatory, but we do request that you are mindful of others and the University recommends using face coverings in enclosed spaces. If you’re travelling with a friend or group, please sit together during travel.

Refund policy: Refunds for tickets cannot be given after the date of the event if you fail to attend for any reason. If you require a refund, you must email gosocial@swansea.ac.uk at least 24 hours before the trip departs. We will make an exception to this policy if you are not attending due to COVID isolation or positive test, please email proof of this. Any refunds will not include the booking charge, this will be lost - apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Conduct & Safety: You are responsible for your own behaviour and time keeping. Please take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety. Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with safety information and safety instructions on board transport and at any location you visit. If you have any concerns, please raise these to the Trip Leader. In the event of an emergency situation, please ensure you contact the emergency services on 999.

Accessibility: This trip requires boarding / disembarkation of the coach – the coach also has one wheelchair user space available – please let us know as soon as possible if you require this. Most areas of Cardiff are accessible to all, but if there is somewhere in particular you wish to visit, please check with the location directly. Children: Children (aged 3 and over) are welcome on this trip and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children must occupy their own seat on the coach and must not be seated on another passenger’s lap. For children under 3 years of age, please contact gosocial@swansea.ac.uk and we will advise if we can accommodate them. Please be advised that child safety and well-being is the responsibility of their accompanying adult at all times – CampusLife and its partners accept no responsibility for children attending.

Data Protection: International@CampusLife will use the information you provide for attendance and safety purposes. We will use your data to produce internal statistics but will not share it with third parties or use it for marketing purposes. Your information will be provided to our trip leader on the day of the trip for the purpose of attendance monitoring and emergency situations. The information will be kept confidential and passed back to ICL and destroyed on return from the trip (once we have passed the legally required COVID-19 Track & Trace period). Photos: We will be taking photos throughout the event which we will use to promote future activities in the form of leaflets, social media posts, digital screens and on our website. If you would not like to be included, then please tell us on the day of the event.
