Based in London, Eugene Makuta & Live Band Musique is a Male Group emerging from their major band, Grupo Lokito which is a fuse contemporary Congolese and Cuban music creating a modern day cocktail of two of the great world musics. Under Grupo Lokito, the band have taken the UK by storm, wowing festivals and the club circuit alike with their blistering grooves and outlandish dance moves.
When detached from their major band, it is Eugene Makuta & Live Band Musique and these guys blend in Rumba & Zouk genres that leave an unforgettable memory in your hearts and Soukous genre which will keep you on the dance floor till you drop because of its ‘Ndombolo’ dance style. The classy plus sophisticated dance moves, and the glorious melodious vocals from Eugene Makuta and Iddo Donnatella blends with soaring guitars courtesy of Congolese guitar hero Mbokalia (Burkina Faso); one of the ever best rhythmic grooves from Ladi Mbala; the creativity from the bassist that always takes the whole band's sound from good to great through pure talent by Chocolat Bass; the diligence, dedication and lifting keyboards of Al; finally the powerful energetic lively Drums and percussions by the ever cheerful Felix Ngindu.
