In August 2011, Danny beat off hundreds of DJ’s from across the UK to win the BBC RADIO 1 - ‘Superstar DJ’ competition !!

The nationwide search for the next Ibiza Superstar DJ climaxed in the week building up to Radio 1’s popular Ibiza Weekend. Danny had to perform various DJ tasks live on air. He Mixed, MC’d and Remixed his way to victory on Chris Moyles show winning the competition outright.

Straight after his victory on Radio 1 Danny was whisked away to Gatwick airport to fly out to La Isla Blanca to perform on Radio 1’s Line up of superstar DJ’s at Ushuaia Beach and Space in Ibiza, broadcast across the UK on Radio 1 and to a global audience online.
