Peter Howarth has been the lead singer with The Hollies for over 20 years as well as the West End star of Only the Lonely - The Roy Orbison Story. He returns to Shrewsbury for an acoustic solo show as he performs some of the all-time favourite hits such as He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother, You Got It, and Pretty Woman. Peter has recorded three new albums with the Hollies as well as performing in shows with them all over the world. Over the past 35 years, Peter has written, recorded, played, sung, and toured worldwide with a variety of artists including performing on stage with Cliff Richard for 20 years. He has also enjoyed his time in theatre, playing the part of Roy Orbison in Bill Kenwright's Only the Lonely. It was also for Bill Kenwright that he wrote the musical Robin Prince of Sherwood and took the role of the Sheriff of Nottingham in the West End and on tour. Peter has also toured his own show featuring 'unplugged' versions of classic hits, alongside songs from his own album Evermore. The recording of his song 'Priceless' recorded in 2016 by Live in the House is a firm favourite of the production team.
