We’re only a few weeks away from Ivor Novello award winning artist Scott Matthew’s return to Shrewsbury. Join us on February 5th in the intimate setting of St Mary’s Church. Being the first ever performer for Live in the House back in 2013, his musical heritage continues to evolve and shine. With his ground-breaking debut album, ‘Passing Stranger’ earned him serious critical acclaim with its bold mix of folk, rock, blues and Eastern-inspired song-writing. In 2007 his first single ‘Elusive’ won the Ivor Novello Award for ‘Best Song Musically and Lyrically’. From here Scott went on to perform on a number of international sell-out tours with respected artists such as Rufus Wainwright, Bert Jansch, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol and Tori Amos. Our final show of the 2025 calendar welcomes contemporary folk/acoustic duo Gilmore & Roberts back to' Live in the House' and to our first show in the beautiful intimate setting of Shrewsbury's Unitarian Church.
