Casual Blood Service//Thalias Grace//Luna Roja//Jensyn | QUARRY

Moonfrog Presents Casual Blood Service, Thalias Grace, Luna Roja, Jensyn at Quarry on 25.07.24 in support of Casual Blood Services new single

Casual Blood Service
Casual Blood Service is lofi melancholic nostalgia wrapped in waves of waining guitars and the warmth of self made music. The solo project of Grace Woolston, explores the uneasiness and innocence of adolescence. Originating from Washington State, now currently based in Liverpool with her 5 piece, Casual Blood Service serves to make your palms ache

Thalias Grace

Your girlfriends favourite band. Moody grunge. The soundtrack for gloomy days and overwhelming feelings.
Characterised by distorted guitar lines bathed in dreamy vocal lines, the amalgamation of brittle harshness juxtaposed by softer tones bleeding  through the instrumentation allows Thalia’s Grace to create a unique,  new approach to the grunge genre. With a mix of influence, the band take inspiration from a wide range of genre, from PJ Harvey to Mitski,  Grizzly Bear to Wolf Alice.

Luna Roja

Luna Roja is a shoegaze band hailing from Liverpool. Luna Roja fuse together all things shoegaze, psychedelic and alt-rock to create a melting pot of styles that has seldom been heard before. Their live shows are a  visceral experience that obfuscates the boundaries between dreams and  reality, using drones and spellbinding vocals to great effect

Jensyn

Jensyn (Jen Morgan) is a 24-year-old queer British singer-songwriter, producer and musician. From the age of 14, Jensyn has written and produced their own music developing their signature sound which blends dreamy melodies and emotive lyrics. After the success of their 2022 EP, 'I Wanna Be There', they were granted funding from Youth Music UK as part of their Next Gen Fund to embark on their next musical endevour. January Left, Jen's latest 6-piece EP, takes listeners on a journey through the sanctity of Jensyn’s innermost thoughts. They are currently producing an album's worth of music which explores their experiences as a queer person.
