Yasak Helva is a boundary-pushing Anatolian trio blending gritty psych-rock, grunge, and the soul of Turkish folk, arabesque, and jazz. This isn’t polished pop-psych this is music with edge and intent. Known for their custom-modified instruments and powerful live energy, they fuse tradition and distortion into a sound that's raw, sophisticated, and unmistakably their own.

Since breaking out with the 'Saz Power' compilation LP in 2018, they've released their acclaimed debut Rektefe and a string of genre-hopping singles. Their latest album 'Atamba' (2025) continues to expand their bold, genre bending sound that is making waves on global stages.
