Swiss singer-songwriter Anna Erhard shines with adventurous indie pop grooves and dry humor on the wonderfully versatile ‘Campsite’, her second solo album that is again produced by ex-Wir Sind Helden drummer Pola Roy. Stand-out track ‘Picnic At The Seaside’ is like a weird mashup of Eels, surf and Neue Deutsche Welle. Erhard writes songs about states of movement: about leaving, escape and transformation. She likes to draw on texts and motifs from her diary-like recordings and then grind them into pieces.
