Sunbird Presents 'Dare' Club night featuring all the best of the darker and edgier side of the 80’s plus live performances from Darwen's very own 'My Little Universe' and 'Naut' alongside the best alternative 80’s essentials playing before, between and after the bands.

My Little Universe

Original & unique 80’s inspired melodic electronic instrumental synth music who made their debut at this years Darwen Live at the Darwen Library Theatre.

Recently released album 'Darwen' was released in April this year and pays homage to MLU's home town with track titles like Jubiliee Tower, Sunnyhurst, and Blacksnape to name a few all with a tinge of a nod to the electronic music of the 80's

Naut

Naut is recorded instruments, captured sounds, modular flourishes & atmospheric elements anchored by programmed drums.

No stranger to the Sunbird Records stage we are delighted to have Naut back in the building to hear his latest new production of reissued tracks and hopefully a few new ones to boot!

Once the acts are over we'll be playing all the best of the darker and edgier side of the 80’s. From early beginnings with The Cure, Echo and The Bunnymen, and Kate Bush, to the digital genius of The Human League, Gary Numan and Kraftwerk with some quirky rarities and Post-Punk treasures from Depeche Mode, Department S, Sparks to Roxy Music, David Bowie and all the best alternative 80’s essentials playing before, between and after the bands.
