To celebrate 10 years of keeping the lights on and the amps cranked, we’re throwing a massive full weekend takeover this May Bank Holiday! Next Weekend Sunbird Records hosts two legends of Music! Friday 5th December we welcome Ffyfe Dangerfield - Best known as the lead singer of 2006 Mercury Prize nominees, cinematic pop outfit Guillemots, has spent much of the last decade gradually piecing together a vast & varied creative universe, the first fruits of which were shared in the beguiling Birdwatcher - a surreal & dreamlike twelve-episode audio series, available to stream at the online home of Fyfe’s production house Saturday 6th December From Big Country - Mark Brzezicki joined Big Country in 1981 and continues the sound and spirit of the band along with Simon Hough, Big Country’s vocalist for over a decade, Gil Allen, Big Country and The Skids bassist and Ken Nicol on Guitar. Steeped in a stunning catalogue of songs such as ‘Fields of Fire’, ‘Chance’, 'East of Eden’, 'Look Away’ and signature song ‘In A Big Country’ will blow you away.
