SUBMERGE presents DUBKASM (Summer BBQ Show) Sun 28th Aug

We're stepping things up a notch for summer so have decided to extend the party from day to night as Submerge Summer Sessions arrives in the courtyard of Clwb Ifor Bach for 12 HOURS of dubwise rhythms and jungle breaks. Special guests DUBKASM will be headlining the event for their first ever performance in Cardiff as they cross the border from Bristol with a whole heap of dubplates in hand.

Expect festival vibes in the afternoon with music from the likes of The Reggiments and the Submerge residents starting at 4PM alongside gourmet street food from RelaxedJaks & Jak'shak and an outdoor Rum & Gin Shack. As the sun sets we'll be taking things upstairs to the sounds of Dubkasm and support until the early hours of the morning!

If you haven't heard of them already Dubkasm are comprised of Digistep and DJ Stryda who together have been pushing the modern dub/roots scene and leading production through their own Bristol-based label Sufferah's Choice. Fusing dubwise elements with live instruments the duo have created their own distinct, bass-heavy sound and have been pushing UK and international soundsystem culture for over a decade alongside the likes of Mungo's HiFi, Gorgon Sound, RSD and Iration Steppas.
