Jarred Up Presents:
John Myrtle + supports
Since emerging in 2019, John Myrtle has steadily built a reputation for crafting loveable pop with a slightly off-kilter edge. Early demos uploaded to SoundCloud caught the attention of Marc Riley on BBC 6 Music, leading to a live session and soon the critically acclaimed EP Here’s John Myrtle was released, which was all recorded to tape in John’s bedroom.
Having received a nod from Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos and been hand-picked as main tour support across Europe and the USA for a host of artists including Cut Worms, Kate Bollinger, Summer Salt, The Bug Club and Katy J Pearson, John released his second album The Little World of You and Me in late 2025, which draws from a trove of new homespun bedroom recordings and also features production from renowned producer Jonathan Rado.
