Thirty years ago, three lads from the small Welsh mining village of Cwmaman took the music world by storm. On August 25, 1997, Kelly Jones, Richard Jones, and the late Stuart Cable released "Word Gets Around" a gritty, poetic, and roaring debut album that permanently shifted the landscape of British rock.

Instead of chasing the fading coattails of Britpop, Stereophonics carved out their own lane. They gave us raw, unfiltered storytelling painted against a backdrop of small-town life, eccentric locals, and universal heartaches. Now, three decades, The Phonics (The UK’s leading Stereophonics tribute) are going back to where it all began.
