Making, and How Design Makes the Difference

OGS Works, in association with the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair (GNCCF), are staging an exclusive preview of Northern-based designer-makers selected for this year’s GNCC, including a 'show and tell' of the designers' passion projects, an opportunity to find out more about the future design and art community within St. John’s, as well as networking and drinks. The event will take place at Bonded Warehouse in Manchester; an exclusive new development on the site of Old Granada Studios, the future St. John's neighbourhood for enterprise, culture and living.

The event will be moderated by Katie Popperwell, a creative producer and arts consultant based in Manchester. She has produced programmes for clients including HOME, Selfridges and the University of Manchester and currently holds the position of Cultural Director of St John’s. Katie is also a freelance writer (Guardian, Stylist, Creative Tourist) and broadcaster (BBC 6Music) with a healthy obsession with fashion and an appreciation of good design wherever it's found.
