Syren City take their influences from a wide range of punk, metal and hardcore, combining to make a huge great British hard rock sound. The band have firmly established themselves in amongst the underground scene.

Throughout the last year the band have gigged extensively, touring the UK, and playing festivals. They've played alongside the likes of Don Broco, Cancer Bats, Skindred, We Are The Ocean, Mallory Knox, Frank Iero, Turbowolf and While She Sleeps.

Before that, the band performed as part of Surface Festival in 2012, coming first in the Wales and West Regional final and performing at the O2 Arena as a part of the International Festival for New Music.

Syren City's latest release is the EP 'Escape' which is available on iTunes, Spotify and all online retailers.

APHERIUM

Yeovil based band formed in 2011 by Larry Turner (Vocals & Guitar), Callum Shortland (Bass Guitar), Ashley Jones (Drums) and Ross Derby (Guitars)

"An intercut sound that seems so effortless"

"An aggression reminiscent of Funeral For A Friend at their most melodic"

After re-shaping their set in 2013, Apherium began to spread their wings racking up a series of successful shows in London, Midlands, South Wales and throughout the South West. The band then bunkered down in preparation for their new EP, entitled ‘Neoteric’, released on 22nd September 2014 which is rammed with sonic sledgehammer fists- in-the-air choruses and explosive rhythms that promise to melt your ears

MAGIC TRIK

As vocalist David McFarlane said, “rock n roll is a void that’s missing in the music world right now, and we’re bringing it back with a vengeance.” That’s what Magic Trik aims to do: take the new world of music by storm with old school rock n’ roll: blistering guitar solos, thundering drum fills, raw powerful bass licks, and vocals that express primal emotions and pull you into their songs. As the “Itsaxxxthing” blog says, Magic Trik are ready to “bring rock and roll to the masses”.

Their vigorous live shows get their music and lyrics out to their fans in the best way possible. The songs are packed with energy and passion, and that comes across in the performance and gets the crowd fired up for more and more.

The band's influences are a mix of different styles, as bassist Shaun Kilna states, "we work by bringing new ideas plucked from each member's tastes and mix it together to create something new". This gives the band a unique sound that still retains the old school blues-rock sound. In the words of guitarist Alek McMillan, "Within the bones of every song we create, there's a blues heartbeat. That's the secret to building up something new that's innovative, but yet still retaining that old school sense of defiance".

The band have been relentlessly playing shows and touring all over the UK, opening for acts such as Altered Sky and Speaking in Shadows. They have also headlined many of Glasgow's famous venues such as the Garage, the Cathouse and the Classic Grand to name a few.

They released their debut EP "By the Stone" in July 2015 and have had great success with radio airplay all around the globe from America and Canada to Australia and the UK, as well as having been interviewed on Gerry Gallagher's Wrock Radio in Los Angeles. Their EP has had very positive feedback, with the Local Music Scene Blog describing the songs as "bursting at the seams with a high-intensity rhythm", as well as having "memorable lyrics", "rugged bass lines", and "ferocious riffs".

Magic Trik are all about getting their songs out to everyone willing to listen. Their lyrics jump out from their songs and scream to be heard. Their message? Life may knock you down and push you into the corner, but rock n' roll can save your life
