TOKYO TABOO

New single Whiskey out now!
Listen now: smarturl.it/WhiskeyTT
Riotous rockers Tokyo Taboo have built quite a reputation for their spectacular, character driven, and often shocking vibrant live performances. With glowing comparisons to Deap Vally, Halestorm, and Juliette & The Licks, Tokyo Taboo drop their new single, Whiskey, out now, which is taken from their much- anticipated upcoming new album.
Composed of the feisty and ferocious pair Dolly Daggerz and Mickey Danger, the Londoner’s debut album, 6th Street Psychosis, brought them acclaim from the likes of Radio X’s John Kennedy, BBC Radio 1, Clash and Punktastic. The duo have been hard at work on their upcoming album, recorded in California. Their second album showcases how diligently the band have honed their sound since their debut, developing musical layers and refining production to create something utterly unique.
With a UK tour on the horizon, plus more new music on the way, you’d better keep your eyes on Tokyo Taboo.
Whiskey is out now via TT Records.

ĠENN
https://www.facebook.com/genntheband/
ĠENN (f.k.a. Cryptic Street//pronounced Jenn) is a musical riot, ready to rock your ears and mess with your brain. They’re serving alternative post-punk madness with a fun twist, fresh out of their DIY framework. Based in Brighton, the band is a result of a trans-national pairing which came about through the internet between three musicians from Malta, and one from the UK.
¡¡¡ Debut album!!! The tantalising ‘Titty Monster’; a burst of punk attitude with a dash of psychedelic, inner conflict and hell-raising fun. Beware the Titty Monster, because it’s coming for you! Purchase now >> https://bit.ly/2ZbTFs5

RUN INTO THE NIGHT
https://www.runintothenight.com/
Pitched something else quite quirky, dark and sensuous, the Glasgow duo consists of Christina Cassette (guitar/vocals) and Ellie May (drums/keys). The indie punk duo and best friends formed in the summer of 2017 when they had the idea of fusing genres and began experimenting with each track channelling a different influence from punk rock attitude to spaghetti westerns. It was important for them to think of unique themes and to release a music video for each single to capture this.
They had success with their first self-released 7″ record ‘Turn To Static’ which reached the Top 100 songs by unsigned bands with Salute Music UK and the B-side ‘Never Ending Blues’ received airplay on Radio BBC 6 Music by DJ Steve Lamaq. Shortly afterwards Run Into The Night were touring the UK regularly and in 2018 released their second 7” record ‘The Devils Rhythm’. This followed by performances at festivals that year and in 2019 at EH6, King Tuts Summer Nights, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Hanwell Hootie and XPO North.
Performing live is where the duo really come to life by delivering raw energetic shows whilst recreating the experimental sound captured on their records. Their live performances captured the attention of Eastwood Guitars and Honey Boy Amps who’s equipment Christina proudly displays on tour. The duo has also opened for various acts such Deap Vally, The Filthy Tongues, Death Vally Girls, Goodbye Mr Mackenzie and Twin Guns (ex The Cramps).
Their last release, ‘Mon Cheri’ took the band on a headline UK tour in October and Run Into The Night already have new music ready for release later in the year.
