The 0161 Manchester Underground Metal Community Promotions are proud to announce this beast of a lineup. We’re hoping to do more ticketed shows in central Manchester and this is the first. This is aimed at all you rock/prog fans. 4 phenomenal acts from across the uk.
Kicking the night off we have Liverpool based alt mettalers Skin Flowers. Their music is described as “Moody. Sexy. Gothic. Metal” These guys made their 0161 debut back in September playing the HOLY DIVER and they blew everyone away. This is the perfect way to kick off a great night.
Up next we have Manchester hard rockers Bad Heritage. They are a hard rock band hailing from Manchester, UK. The line up, which formed in 2023, consists of 4 individuals who share a common love for delivering raw energy through their music. Combining the grit heard in music by The Pretty Reckless and Marmozets with riffs heard from the likes of Royal Blood and Audioslave, noted to ooze with swagger, Bad Heritage have cultivated an infectious and powerful sound.
Our main support act are one the stand out uk underground bands around. Manchester prog rockers VMBRA. Having been crowned M2TM Manchester 2025 winners. These guys have graced the hallowed turfs of both Bloodstock and Radar. Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of bands including Porcupine Tree, Haken, The Dear Hunter, Karnivool, and Leprous, VMBRA crafts Progressive Metal characterised by powerful choruses, lush vocal harmonies, intricate riffs and structures, dramatic dynamic shifts and skilful genre fusion.
Our headliners are London based Rock giants JOANovARC. Exploding onto the international music scene in early 2015 with the acclaimed singles Live Rock ’n’ Roll and White Trash, JOANovARC’s status as the new ‘Queens of Rock’ is about to rise even higher with their debut album, Ride Of Your Life. Released on 9th November 2016 through Red Vixen Records/Universal, available through HMV stores UK and outlets around the world. The album was recorded at the legendary Rockfield studios and produced by Grammy winning producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters). Formed in 2004 by sisters Sam and Shelley Walker, Deborah Wildish joined later the same year. After five years as a trio, Laura Ozholl completed the line-up in 2009, helping JOANovARC to quickly solidify its reputation for exceptional musicianship, songwriting and unrelenting hard work. The band is already becoming a global phenomenon, with electrifying performances on tour in Europe, Japan, Asia, the Middle East, Caribbean and a recent tour in California USA.
