#MANCUNIApresents and The Live Room, Mancunia are pleased to welcome Warrington Rock n Rollers Slydigs to headline a night of quality live music with support from Manchester’s Black Sonic Revolver & The Mantells.
Slydigs released their debut album in 2012 title ‘Never To Be Tamed’. Following the bands debut release saw the band take their show on the road all over the UK collecting a growing fan base every where the band played.
In 2015 the bands biggest break came when they were selected to go on tour with Rock behemoths ‘The Who’ for an Arena tour celebrating The Who’s 50th anniversary where the Slydigs played to packed arenas including the Manchester Arena and London O2 Arena.
Following The Who shows Slydigs went to London to play Hyde Park in front of 80,000 on a line up featuring Paul Weller and The Who amongst other rock n roll elite.
Following the summer Slydigs released latest track ‘Light The Fuse’ which was also selected as one of the tracks on Xbox/Console guitar game Rock Band 4 with the single release coinciding with the game release. On that same day the track was aired at half time at Old Trafford for a Manchester Utd game.
Towards the end of 2015 Slydigs were invited on a UK tour with America’s Vintage Trouble which was to be a huge success. A close friendship was formed with the Americans which led to Slydigs being invited on the full European tour which followed where packed theatre halls and unique venues awaited in countries like Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Italy and Belgium where Slydigs gathered a loyal european following along the way.
Back on home turf now and planning one more Manchester and UK show before the bands next exciting stage of their career is announced.
Support on the night comes from Manchester’s Black Sonic Revolver who recently released their 2nd studio album and whom coincidently had one of their very first shows as a band back in 2013 supporting Slydigs in Manchester.
Tom Barrow brings his band The Mantells, also from Manchester to complete a tantalising line up of live music at The Live Room.
