Edinburgh born trio Monticule can't really be pinned down but if you were to say 'soulful-bluesy-country-rock' you wouldn't be wrong. Their unique style has drawn comparisons to the likes of The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes. Monticule are a newly featured artist with BBC Introducing where they performed live on Another Country with Ricky Ross' show and received regular airplay of their singles 'Vultures' and 'Pros & Cons’. Live shows have brought the band to famous venues such as The Green Note (London), supporting Grammy Award Nominated Artist Fantastic Negrito at King Tut’s (Glasgow), as well as playing festival main stages at the sold out Hebridean Celtic Festival and FyneFest in 2016.
