Step Ladder Records are an independent promotion company founded by Zak Osborne - an event organiser and fusion drummer who is heavily rooted in the Manchester music scene. The project started almost 2 years ago focusing primarily on facilitating energetic and forward thinking jazz-based music, aiming to pull jazz music away from the cocktail crowd and into the hands of lively grassroots venues. On this wave of fiery, next generation jazz musicians, they continue to provide a step up for emerging artists in celebration of community.
