The K Club, Empire and the Korean Society committee would like to invite you to K-CLUB DIAMOND EDITION!

🎇🎊🎉This K-club event is sparkle themed! Please wear your sparkliest clothes, accessories in the spirit of the New Year!

This time as we are celebrating the new year and End Of Exams, we have set the theme for Diamond to make sure the year shines bright! From the team that helped throw the big K Club Events before Lockdown, Empire Events and K Club Events would like to officially welcome you back to the first K Club in Preston in 2022. This is a themed event. This isn’t mandatory so please don't feel pressured to follow this theme but if you can please feel free to interpret the Sparkle theme any way you like!

This is an event is open to students at UCLan, Members of The Korean Society as well as MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC...please, bring plus ones, twos, as many as you like! Everyone is welcome! Members of the Korean, Japanese, and any International Society will receive half price off entry with a valid proof of membership! People on the Committee of a Society will receive Free Entry all night.

This will be a great opportunity to meet like-minded fans of K-pop, as well as letting go of any worries of moving to a new city and make new friends! This may be a great way to show off your dancing skills too! And for a limited bonus, we will be releasing £5 tickets for the first lucky few.

All are welcome, whether you are a student or not, as long as you have a passion for K-pop!

With iconic music ranging from the classics to the newest hits, we hope you will help us out with what you'd like to hear! A song request thread will be in the Discussion section sometime in the near future, and you can leave us your fave songs, so please comment your request songs when it does go up.

(If your song doesn’t get played, we are sorry as we only have about a certain amount hours to play music and about 15 hours worth to select from. However we assure you, you will love the songs played!)

In terms of entrance, the doors will open at11pm on the dot. We would like to ask everyone to be there between 11pm-Midnight as you will need your ID checked by the Popworld staff, but please don't forget your ID or you won't be allowed in!

Note: Due to the size of the venue, to comply with recent legislations, EITHER a negative Lateral Flow Test logged onto the NHS site OR proof of Vaccination will be required. You don't have to be vaccinated if it's not something you wish to do, but the venue will just need proof that you're not infected and won't be spreading it about!

▬ ABOUT EMPIRE PROJECT EVENTS & K CLUB EVENTS▬

What do we do?

We don’t just host Top Chart and Kpop nights.

We are a group of friends with a passion for music and K-Pop, and we have run club nights for the last 7 years. We comprise of DJs, University Society committee members, Undergrads and Graduates. For the last 3 years, we have been helping different University societies throw K-Pop parties throughout term time.

We are K-pop fans and DJs who assist University societies and club venues into putting on their own K-Pop events at a time that suits them so they don’t have to rely on external promoters and their more restricted schedules and locations.

We’ve helped Uni societies and clubbing venues start brand new K-pop events, as well as provide DJs for existing ones. We also take pride in training new K-Pop DJs that we see has shown enough passion into this career path. We also like to promote and push all K-pop events happening at the time. Cause the more the merrier, meaning meeting more like minded friendly people.
