Springfield, Alright & Shackites

Listen Up Proudly present Springfield supported by Alright and Shackites at 33 Oldham St, Manchester on Saturday 5th August 2023

SPRINGFIELD

“Springfield are a five piece alternative rock band hailing from the rainy Lake District, Cumbria. Forming in 2016, the band begun playing covers in the local pubs. Soon enough they found themselves writing together. Musically Inspired by artists such as Tame Impala, New Order and Bloc Party, Springfield blend melodic guitar/synth hooks with direct aggressive drum beats.

2019 saw the band release two singles ‘Footstep’ and ‘105’. The tracks have accumulated over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone. February 2020 saw the band release 'Liquorice', although a strong track and a fan favourite, the world ground to a halt due to more important matters. The band got back to it in 2021 rounding the year off Supporting Red Rum Club at the world famous Cavern Club, Liverpool.

The band are gearing up for a busy 2023 after the release of their most recent single Stuck In My Head” (Spotify)

ALRIGHT

Alright are an unsigned indie-rock band, originating in Lancashire, England.

The band is made up of five mates who view themselves to be “normal lads, with normal jobs, from a normal town” namely Blackpool.

Alright are ready for big 2023 after a series of great singles and a headline show at the iconic, Blackpool Tower!

SHACKITES

“Like all good stories, Shackites began in the pub. One drunken conversation led to the formation of the five-piece band, hailing from the holy triangle of Atherton, Tyldesley and Astley, Greater Manchester.
