Gritty dream-pop greatness from a startling new band on the rise – Sorebones launch their newest single at Record Junkee this December.
Crafting earnest and introspective songs that draw from grunge and dreampop, Sorebones is the project of Derbyshire-based musicians Kane Warren, Kian Woodhead, Cale Hood, and Isaac Jordinson. Warren, Hood, and Woodhead, whose friendship spans two decades, formed the band in 2023 after years of experiencing music only from the punter’s side of the stage.
In 2024, experienced multi-instrumentalist Jordinson joined on bass, with synthesiser and percussion contributions from Dan Longmore (TRASH, Sunface). After releasing singles recorded at Sheffield’s Yellow Arch Studios, the band is gearing up for the birth of their new offering, “In My Skin,” produced by Dave Sanderson (65daysofstatic, Reverend and The Makers). In My Skin enters the world November 2024, and a debut headliner will complement its release on December 13th at Record Junkee in Sheffield.
