Bubamara are “folk exotica polka bandits”. Tributaries of music collide in this collection of itinerate songs and tunes from the hash dens, cabarets, brothels and prisons of the fin de siècle. This is the type of music that only arises after dark for those whose life is marked in equal measure with unrequited love, the excess of drink, exile, loss, imprisonment, death and joy.

All the way from Dundee, alternative rock band, Red Vanilla, are doing a mini tour of England to promote their new EP. Let’s give them a big Teesside welcome.

Lāla Rasē are an enigmatic Duo thought to originate from somewhere in the North East of England. While little is known about the pair, reviews of their usually sold out gigs have been largely positive with 95% of Critics and 91% of Verified Audience members giving a rating of somewhere between 1and5 out of 5 with the other 4% & 9% forgetting to vote as they left early to beat the traffic.
