Up and coming musician Millie Mountain is a Singer/songwriter from South London, Brixton. Fiery and confident from birth, 24 years old, Millie was born in Aberystwyth, Wales then moved over to South London as a baby.

Millie has an eclectic sound. She sings truths about her own internal traumas and tells stories about people from a first person narrative. Her musical interests range mainly from old school Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul and Jazz.

‘Blurred Out Faces’, her Debut EP has received great feedback and gave the audience a more defined idea of her overall sound and vibe.
She has been gigging all over London on the Neo Soul / Jazz circuit and has received BBC Introducing London support from Jess Iszatt.
Millie has also received support from Global Soul, featured in the Global Soul Chart, and has performed for Global Soul.

‘Feel’ Millie Mountain’s collaboration track with The Mouse Outfit and Gemini Candid, is approaching 284K streams on Spotify alone. This has also been remixed by Creatures as a Drum and Bass remix that is popular in the dance clubs in Manchester and elsewhere. Her recent collaborations with Mr Harry on 'How We Like' and 'The Bubble' have had a similar reaction taking up his funk groove with her own unique style. 'Running' the first single taken from the forthcoming debut album was featured on New Music Friday and Orbit Spotify Playlists with combined likes of 921K, and it was added to Fresh Finds and Chilled Ministry of Sound Playlists. In addition it received critical acclaim in C-heads blog; Notion Magazine Undiscovered Feature; Wordplay Magazine and The Pit London. The reaction to Millie’s latest single ‘Shades’ has received a similar reaction being featured as Jazz FMs Single of the Week on Tony Minvielle’s show. All this has contributed to a growing fan base within the Neo soul and jazz community. Her music is a mix of different styles (that at various times has been described as Pop, Soul, Neo-Soul, Jazz, and Hip-Hop) that's not easily boxed into one category as Millie expresses in this interview for her last single that has received critical praise https://www.c-heads.com/2023/08/04/running-into-change-a-conversation-with-millie-mountain/

Millie has performed as a member of The Mouse Outfit on their recent tour over the UK. Performing sold out shows in popular venues, to being on big stages at festivals, such as Boomtown Chapter 2: The Twin Trail, supporting UB40 at The Homecoming in Birmingham, supporting Sister Sledge at Sundaes in the City in Bristol, Love Summer Festival in Plymouth and more.

She has filled out headline shows in London at The Troubadour in Earls Court and has headline dates booked in Manchester and will be appearing for Band on the wall. Her biggest headline show will be at the Deaf institute in Manchester in February 2024 to coincide with the release of her debut album, with a headline show for Pizza Express Jazz Club.

In addition to her latest releases, Millie is in the process of writing and recording new material for her album that she intends to release early next year. She is currently in the studio working with several established and successful co-writers, some of whom have collaborated with Brit Award and Ivors Award, platinum selling artists. She will be releasing a string of her own singles in the lead up to the album release. The album will be a bringing together, of a rich and diverse range of styles that Millie has made her own, a combination of warming Neo-Soul vibes mixed with Jazz, Hip-Hop & R&B.
Millie has been featured in articles by Wordplay, Youth, The Selektion, Abstract Stylist, and been interviewed for a podcast in Virginia, USA.

Millie has also received recognition for her fashion and makeup modelling work with Vogue Italia, Emilia Wickstead, London Fashion week Wonderland and FRUK Magazine among others.
