Jacob Reddy

Having recently returned from a mammoth 'All 51 Cities In 22 Consecutive Days' Busking Tour of England, (raising over £10K for Derian House Children's Hospice), during which he met and was interviewed by Celebrity YouTuber Jaackmaate, was shouted out to 3500 people by his hero Frank Turner at the O2 Apollo, and appeared on ITV News, GMTV and several BBC Radio Stations, it is fair to say that Jacob has started to make an impact on the music scene! A recent spot supporting one of his favourite bands 'The Lottery Winners', in Blackpool, has also brought Jacob's live show to a wider audience

Jacob made his live 'debut' aged 8 and has since performed covers & original material at shows for many years, including Darwen Live, one of England's largest free live music festivals! Currently, Jacob can be found performing in local live music venues and other events most weekends, including a recent showcase at The Bread Shed in Manchester.

In March 2020 (in the opening week of Lockdown!), Jacob released his first official solo single, 'Kings', a modern day, uplifting rock anthem! Kings was written as a nostalgic look back in life to the power and importance of friendship, and has already been chosen to promote a Crowdfunding Project in Devon.

In May 2020, Jacob organised a Charity Livestream fundraising concert for Derian House Children's Hospice in Lancashire. He enlisted support from several local young musicians who all contributed tracks to the event. These were built into a highly enjoyable 2 hour show, hosted by Jacob, which raised over £1500 in 24 hours.

Jacob's live shows are full of energy, where his dynamic approach aims to get the audience buzzing. Taking inspiration from a wide range of artists including Frank Turner, Tom Grennan, The Lottery Winners and McFly, Jacob's approach to song-writing is simple - to write memorable, crowd-pleasing anthems!

Jacob has released 4 additional singles in 2021/22, with several more and an EP due soon.

The first of these, 'Outside The Box', was released in February 2021, an uptempo, energetic love song, which has been streamed over 11,000 times on Spotify, as well as being included on his hero Frank Turner's official 'One Foot Before The Other' playlist.

As mentioned, Jacob spent the whole of summer 2021 planning, preparing and finally performing on his nationwide busking tour, playing a set in every single city in England... in 22 days!

As Jacob follows his dream of a career in music, he is currently studying songwriting at BIMM (British & Irish Modern Music Institute) in Manchester.
