Harps of Gold

Na Clarsairean (the Scottish Harp Orchestra) directed by Isobel Mieras, and pupils of George Watson’s College led by Rosemary McKerchar.

Join us in our annual concert of festive seasonal music accompanied by a veritable host of harps. Na Clarsairean (gaelic for the harpers) along with harp players from other parts of Scotland and musicians and singers from George Watson’s College present magical music, singing and carols for all.

Leave behind the bustle of Christmas shopping and relax to the unique, heavenly sound of more than 50 harps in a joyful afternoon of Christmas music, blending specially arranged new delights with familiar favourites.

Each year the proceeds of the raffle and a proportion of the ticket sales are donated to a particular charity and this year we are delighted to be supporting SANDS Lothians (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society).
