Night & Day Ceilidh

The Night And Day Music Agency are hosting a monthly ceilidh at; The Wonder Inn, Manchester City Centre. The night is open to everyone aged 16 and over, and we'll come equipped with our own caller who will guide you through the dances; so if this is your first time to take part in a ceilidh, you'll be in safe hands! Our musicians are top class, and are very well known on the wider folk circuit.What is a Ceilidh? Céilí is an Irish term / Ceilidh is a Scottish term, and both refer to the same thing: a Gaelic social gathering involving traditional music and dancing. The latter term is also commonly used in reference to English dances nowadays too in place of the term; Barn Dance. They're an age-old way of getting together to have great fun, and to meet new people.We've chosen this beautiful grade II listed building as our setting, as we think it'll be perfect: so spread the word and help us to make this a wonderful night. The first of our monthly ceilidhs will take place on: Tue 22nd of March from 8pm - 10.30 pm. Tickets: £7. *Please wrap up warm with plenty of layers, as this grade II listed building can be nippy.Unfortunately, there no lift in the building at this current time, so there is no disabled access to the middle floor at present.
