For the first time one of Cuba’s very best bands, Maykel Blanco Y Su Salsa Mayor, are coming to Scotland. Loved around the world for their exciting brand of Cuban Timba, Maykel Blanco y Su Salsa Mayor are an outstanding group at the top of their musical game. Directed by Maykel Blanco, the band consists of 14 musicians. They have consistently produced hit after hit of hugely popular, highly danceable & sweetly melodic Cuban dance music They are every Cuban DJ’s secret super weapon which never fails to ignite the dance floor.One of the most talented musicians in Cuba today, Maykel Blanco is a singer-songwriter, arranger, musical director and pianist from Havana. He has played in various well known bands in Cuba and and his own group, La Suprema Ley.
