KAREN PFEIFFER and PAUL WALKER / IAN TYZACK / AVRIL McCALL

From Stuttgart and Staffordshire, these two lovely, talented people have been together for twelve years and have released four albums together. Paul “discovered” Karen busking in Germany and invited her to come and perform in England. Since then they have performed at several festivals and toured in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Ireland and the UK. They played at the Cutty Wren folk club last year and thanks to those good folks for bringing them to our attention.

Ian Tyzack and Avril McCall shared the honours supporting Plumhall last June and we rather enjoyed it so we thought why not do it again! Ian is a very accomplished interpreter of other people’s songs. Avril has the purest of unaccompanied voices and a genuine passion for every song she sings.
