Hailing from Cumbria, Motörbeard were formed in early 2021. And since have cemented themselves as one of the, if not the, best tributes to Motörhead currently in the UK.
Made up of seasoned professional musicians, the band has gone from strength to strength in recent years, a highlight being a very highly coveted headline slot at The Waterloo's NO SLEEP 'TIL BLACKPOOL commemorative Motörhead event in 2025, for which they played the album OVERKILL in its entirety followed by a greatest hits set of deep cuts and firm fan favourites.
Speaking of songs they play, the set includes the big hits such as ACE OF SPADES, BOMBER, ROAD CREW and OVERKILL. But Motörbeard additionally pride themselves on a diverse deep cut selection featuring such numbers as DANCING ON YOUR GRAVE, IN THE NAME OF TRAGEDY and LOVE FOR SALE. The set currently changes from gig to gig, and the band are learning 3/4 new songs to add to the line up as the "RUINED LIVERS AND LUGHOLES TOUR 2026" continues...
The sound isn't the only thing they have worked hard on the last few years, from the shark toothed double bass drums to the custom Rickenbackers, amplifiers and all important Lemmy Beard, this tribute is a Motörhead nerd's dream.
The band are highly approachable and are proud to have met so many amazing people out on the road already. Whether that be the casual fan, or even those of you that lent Lemmy a quid for the bandit!
