Friday 20 Nov ...

Leave Edinburgh at 6:00pm. Get to hostel at Inverness at 10:00pm, traffic-permitting.

Saturday 21 Nov ...

Leave Inverness after breakfast and head along Loch Ness and onto the Isle of Skye. There will be short stops for photos and some Nessie Hunting along the way.

Before crossing the bridge to Skye, we will make a short stop for photos of the iconic Eilean Donan Castle.

In the afternoon, we cross over the bridge to the Isle of Skye then visit Trotternish peninsula to see famous sites and take some short walks around Kilt Rock and Old Man of Storr.

Retire to hostel at Isle of Skye.

Sunday 22 Nov ...

Leave the island and make a photo stop at Loch Garry - Scotland's Loch.

The drive back to Edinburgh takes us through the Great Glen, past the iconic Ben Nevis and through the mysterious Glencoe, where we will descend for a short walk.

We stop for lunch in Tyndrum and then make a final visit to the famous Falls of Dochart before returning to Edinburgh.
