Manchester School of Theatre Summer School: Shrek Jr. The Musical

Following our sold out workshop in 2026, The Manchester School of Theatre Summer School returns in July 2027.

Put on a musical in 5 days! This energetic and engaging week-long workshop, for aged 5–15 years old, will inspire students through a blend of challenge and creativity which will culimnate in them putting on their own musical of Shrek Jr on the Friday evening for family to attend. 

Guided by our skilled and highly qualified teaching team, participants embark on a vibrant learning experience that culminates in a fully staged musical performance for an invited audience. Qualified and experienced creative leaders are supported throughout by a committed group of specialist assistants and break time supervisors.
