“Acoustic Afternoons” Torture and the Desert Spiders + Sophie Mac

Liverpool Entertainment,Music and Arts Network are delighted to present to you two fantastic female performers! Both of these ladies have good, strong vocals and are talented performers.

American-born Anna is a graduate of LIPA but she’s certainly not run-of-the-mill! She performs both solo shows and as part of her band “Torture and the Desert Spiders” both here in the UK and performs regularly back in her native USA. Originally from New York she is now Liverpool-based and one of the most hard-working musicians in our city. She’s a confident and accomplished performer and is always a joy to watch. I have seen her 3 times now both as a solo artist and as a band. She’s incredibly talented and is very dedicated to her craft. Please come along and see for yourselves!

Sophie Mac is a Liverpool-born singer/songwriter who performs both with an acoustic guitar or with backing tracks to demonstrate the different styles she produces. She’s a talented song writer with many of her songs inspired by her own life experiences. Sophie only recently began performing as a solo artist and has been offered festival slots and gigs on the strength of her performances.

Both of these ladies are extremely talented and it’s an honour to host them both on the same event! We hope that you will enjoy their performances and go on to see them again at their future gigs. These ladies are on fire!
