We're celebrating the end of exams with a one off SKINT takeover of Skate Island, the viral pop up roller rink at Newcastle Racecourse!

Skating is free flowing, come on and off the rink as many times as you like to have a break or grab refreshments. 

TICKETS
This is a ticket only event.
Tickets are £10 and include your skate hire. 
Tickets for the after party at The Points are £3 when purchased as an add on. 
Last entry 8pm.

LOCATION & TRAVEL
Skate Island is located at Newcastle Racecourse, High Gosforth Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 5HP.

TAXI: Uber is £9-15 from city centre accommodations. 
BUS: 44,45,46 from Haymarket every 20 minutes. 
DRIVE: Parking is available on site.

1. Skate Hire & Equipment
Hire Inclusion: A valid ticket entitles the holder to one pair of rental skates for their specific session.
Hygiene: For health and hygiene reasons, all persons using rental skates must wear socks.
Damage/Theft: Failure to return rental skates or safety gear is considered theft. Customers are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Personal Skates: If guests bring their own, skates must be clean, in good repair, and have non-marking wheels/stoppers. No Inline skates allowed.

2. Rink Rules & Safety
Assumption of Risk: Participation is at the skater's own risk. The venue is typically not liable for injuries from falls or collisions unless caused by negligence.
Prohibited Items: No food, drink, or chewing gum is allowed on the rink.
Electronic Devices: Headphones while skating is strictly prohibited for safety.

3. Health & Medical
Physical Fitness: Skaters must be physically fit to participate. It is often recommended that those with heart conditions, back/joint problems, or who are pregnant do not skate.
Safety Gear: You are not required to wear safety gear however it is recommended. Helmets and wrist guards are available and included as part of your skate hire. 

4. Media & Privacy
By entering the site, ticket holders give consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. 

5. Refunds.

This is an 18+ event, ID will be required. Student ID may also be required.
