Monkqon1: We Stand As One

All night mixed genre Rave!

The #SWM family is coming together for our good friend James Bayliss (AKA Monkey, one half of the Bassline Animals) to try and raise some cash, bring postive energy and good vibes. Some of you may know that James is going through some pretty serious treatment right now. So we wanted to come together as one to show him love and help make a difference if we can. You are not alone James and you have touched all of our lives in some way or another, so we wanted to try and do something postive at this very tough time. People that know James will know that he has been through quite a lot in the past few years, and he just gets on with it with a smile on his face. This won't beat you mate and we are all proud of you. This is our way of showing you this. 

The cash raised will be used to send him and his family on holiday. This is what our music, our scene, and most importantly we are about. We will be putting on one hell of a night, and all we ask on the door is a small donation of at least £5. (Some of us will be putting in a lot more than this, so if you can spare it, please do. It Will be going to a very good cause). The night itself will be mixed genre, Underground Dance music. The club the Attic has gone through a refurbishment, and is looking really good. There will be full lighting and stage effects and the rig is very loud and crisp. The club have agreed to help us with this and won't be charging a rental hire, and will provide equipment free of charge. Ollie Brown (MC Obie) has kindly done the flyer work for free. And the artists and anyone involved in the event have rescinded their fees. We are all coming together to unite and all we ask is for support in any way possible. So come down, enjoy the night and most importantly let's make some money for our good friend and local raving God James Bayliss.
