Please come along if you can spare some time, you don’t need to be there for the whole 2 hours. If you are a student this contributes to the Sustainability Award.
Material and equipment will be provided, however if you have some twigs or small logs we can incorporate into the build then please bring them along.
Hot drinks will be provided.
Please wear appropriate warm clothing and footwear.
Work with a community of organic growers and learn how to plan, plant, nurture and provide organic vegetables in an urban setting.
Routine practical, hands-on informal sessions, suitable for all, no need for previous growing experience.
Tyfu Tawe aims to encourage students and staff to embed sustainability into their lives by growing produce on campus, whilst benefiting mental and physical wellbeing. In addition the project provides an opportunity for research and enterprise. If you are a student Tyfu Tawe volunteering time contributes to your HEAR Sustainability Award. Staff can earn SWell points for Tyfu Tawe time.
