We're thrilled to welcome Carrier for a mid-week gig at The Lubber Fiend.
Carrier has long blurred boundaries at the edge of electronic music. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s as co-founder of Commix, a pivotal force in drum & bass with releases on Metalheadz, Exit, and 31 Records. Later, he moved into techno’s underground with his Shifted project and Avian label, exploring minimalism, noise, and drone.
Carrier’s debut album, Rhythm Immortal, out on the infamous Modern Love, delivers eight taut, minimalist tracks moving through negative space, drawing on frictional rhythms, dubwise restraint, and fractured dynamics. You can expect to hear a lot this sound in his new live show.
Some fantastic supports for this one! Ex Tynam and Silent Era will be performing, with Jon C in before / during / wherever
