Since the band’s inception, Winter Gardens have secured support slots for a number of high-profile names including Echo & The Bunnymen, Gary Numan, Modern English, Piroshka & Pale Blue Eyes. The band have also been regular festival favourites, most recently playing Rockaway Beach in January alongside the likes of OMD, Self Esteem &
Peter Hook & The Light. 2024 Has seen the formation of a brand new, confident lineup leading to European performances (Left Of The Dial, Supersonic) & numerous Radio plays (BBC Radio 1, BBC Introducing) Music video "Moonjockey" (Written & directed by band songwriters Jamie Windless & Ananda Howard) was nominated for four awards & presented Best Music Video at The Prague International Film Awards.
The band’s debut EP, “Tapestry”, was released via austerity records to exceedingly positive press across the board including glowing reviews by For The Rabbits, Punktastic, Upset Magazine & Germany’s VISIONS Magazine. The four-track release, led by the success of single “Zigzanny”, was also championed by Melita Dennett of BBC Introducing, earning the band such honours as BBC Featured Act & Introducing Pick Of The Year. Since then singles "Crystallise" & "Moonjockey" have all landed spot plays on BBC Radio 1 & Introducing.
