Welfare@CampusLife are here to provide you with advice, guidance and support throughout your time at Swansea University.
We recognise that as a commuter student you will have different needs than the rest of the student population. As a result, we would like to invite you to a welcome day specifically for commuter students so you can have Campus tours and talks from us (CampusLife) and the Student's Union tailored for commuter students. It will also give you the opportunity to meet people in similar situations to yourself and start to make plans for your first year as a Swansea University student.
The timetable for the day is as follows:
10:00-10:30 - Tea and coffee, initial icebreakers and have a brief introduction (from Welfare team) to the day’s activities
10:30-11:15 – Icebreakers
11:15-12:45 – Campus tours (Bay and Park campus separately)
12:45-1:30 – Lunch
1:30-2:30 – Talks – Student's Union, Student Travel, CampusLife
2:30-3 – Questions and feedback
Please note the following important things:
Parking will not be provided for free on campus and it is strongly advised that you park in 'The Rec' and give yourself plenty of time to find a space. (Details for parking - http://www.swansea.ac.uk/postgraduate/open-days/directions/)
The session will take place in 'Seminar Room 2' in Fulton House. Someone will be at the front of Fulton House to direct you but ask at reception if you cannot see anyone.
We look forward to meeting you,
Welfare@CampusLife Team
