GO!Social: Meet at the Beach

International@CampusLife are pleased to welcome you to our weekly Wednesday GO!Social event. 

Join us during your lunch break where we will enjoy different social activities each week spread over the 2 university campuses. This is a great opportunity to socialise, make friends and feel part of the university community.

All students are welcome so please join us. You are welcome to attend at both sites, just hop on the Unibus or on your bike and explore what both campuses have to offer.

This week we will be Meet at the Beach at the Singleton Park Campus. So bring your packed lunch and a towel and enjoy an afternoon at the seaside! Details on where to meet will be sent once you have signed-up for your free ticket.

Due to health and safety and social distancing measure in place the event is limited to a certain number, so be sure to sign up quickly if you wish to attend and please notify us if you cannot attend so we can allocate the ticket to somebody else.

You must provide your name, student number and contact telephone number when you register for Track and Trace purposes. This information will be stored securely and the details may need to be shared with NHS Wales should an outbreak of Covid-19 be tracked back to the event. Fatsoma’s data and privacy policies can be found on their website.

You must adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times and we encourage you to wear a face mask and use hand sanitizer. The event will be outdoors so once we have reached the beached and made ourselves comfortable at 2m apart we can remove our masks and enjoy our lunch and a chat together. There will be a member of staff on hand to support you during the event :-) 

You are responsible for your own behaviour and time keeping. Please take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety.

We may be taking photos throughout the event which we will use to promote future activities in the form of leaflets, social media posts, digital screens and on our website. If you would not like to be included, then please tell the staff member on the day of the event. If you see yourself in any pictures and would like to be removed, please email us at international.campuslife@swansea.ac.uk and we will make sure that any photos of you are deleted.
