Join us for a unique night of live music and a panel that puts fans at the heart of grassroots music. Pay Now, Smile Later is a new campaign encouraging audiences to buy tickets in advance, helping local venues, promoters, and artists put on more shows while keeping tickets fair and accessible.

This event features a panel discussion with promoters, a venue manager, artist, band manager, and a dedicated super-fan — all sharing their experiences of running and attending live shows in East Lancashire and beyond. You’ll have the chance to join the conversation, share your thoughts, and influence how our future gigs are promoted, priced, and organised. Your feedback will be shared with the local music community, making you a real part of the movement to keep grassroots music alive. The night also features live performances from GEORGIAN and LUCIGENIC, two new emerging artists who you will love.

Live Music

GEORGIAN
Writing out of Manchester and recording in Amsterdam, Georgian creates a soft bloom of 60s psychedelia and folk horror with Southern Gothic undertones. Her dusky, melancholic voice drifts over nylon strings, Hammond organ, and rippling atmospheres — comforting yet intoxicatingly forlorn, like a xanaxed Beth Gibbons with a spaghetti western twist.

LUCIGENIC
Fronted by Lucy Davies Wyatt and Gary Wyatt, LUCIGENIC’s music is delicate yet defiant, melodic yet raw. Their sound evokes a modern Velvet Underground through Mazzy Star melancholy and Brian Jonestown Massacre psychedelia — swirling ethereal vocals with brooding guitars that refuse to sit still.
