Lydia Prettyman is a storyteller, empathiser, and a hopeless romantic; three qualities which are evident in her songwriting. Lydia has immersed herself in musical opportunities from a young age. With soft yet distinctive vocals that fill you with a tender awe, Lydia believes in her lyrics establishing themselves as poetry. Last year Lydia released her debut singe 'Picture Frames' and 'Hang Your Coat Back Up', both recorded in Liverpool At Coastal Sound with Tom Roach. Last year she headlined gigs in London and Luton, and played DotToDot Festival in Nottingham. She has recently played Deansgate Mews Festival in Manchester and this upcoming gig at Retro will be her first headline gig in Manchester. Lydia has built a strong fanbase since her initial releases and is set for a promising future. With more tracks having just been recorded in the studio, Lydia's music is one to keep an eye on.
