North Yorkshire Goddesses of a cappella, Henwen perform big blues, old folk, new country and songs they write themselves across the UK – including at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on national TV and radio, and alongside poets including Ian MacMillan, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Patience Agbabi.
Linton Kwesi Johnson said of them “I can’t think when I last heard anything so beautiful”.
Andy Brewster is a modern day minstrel. He has a vast repertoire of songs and can sing them with a fabulous voice and great guitar technique. He is also a great bloke and passionate about supporting live music events. His appearance at Toft House is long overdue.
