By unwavering popular demand we're welcoming back Sheffield's space-rock-juggernaughts, The Super Stereos. After a rousing Repeater #1 performance had us checking our rattled teeth were still in place and our hearing was still intact, we had no hesitation in asking The Super Stereos for a reprise — This time they will close the show for Repeater #2.
Underneath the noise and the ensuing sonic assault (imagine Spacemen 3 with power drills on a space station under the sea), lies a strong foundation of song-writing and composition wrapped up with understated attention to detail.

We are extremely excited to welcome our co-main attraction making their Sheffield debut: Berlin/Bristol's Shoun Shoun. Delivering atmospheric noise-pop and art-psych-rock with the urban ennui of Nico and the noise of Sonic Youth, Shoun Shoun could undoubtedly be your new favourite band.
The quartet emerged in 2019 with their EP A Hundred Trips, followed up in 2022 with the vaunted album Monsters & Heroes as well as their fresh new single release in April 2023, We Woke The Monster. Depending where you sit on the sliding scale of influences and sound, there are shades and parallels to be drawn and heard of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey and Queens Of The Stone Age. Our advice — catch them while you can!

Setting the theme of the show with their absurd, sultry, strange and abstract symphonies are Sheffield's Electric Tape Recorder. With their EP Strange Holiday gaining recognition and intrigue alike, ETR return to Repeater to recount their nightmarish tales in equal measures of beauty, shambolism and brutality.
