Sietch: Presenting A Night of Heavy Alt Music

Alt-rock trio 'Sietch' host a night of heavy alternative music at Manchester's iconic Castle Hotel, with support from two female-fronted bands: Manchester metalcore band 'Occulent' and alt-rock heavy-hitters 'New Age Grace' from Leicester. 

Formed in Manchester in 2023, Sietch are set on bringing their dynamic and raw energy to live shows and studio releases. This is certainly expressed with their latest single: ‘The Lovers, I and II’. Guitarist Will Nebreda says, “This track sets a whole new level for us as a band, it’s both aggressive and meditative in equal measure - in that way, it feels very reflective of the three of us!.”

Miles Dopson (vocals, bass), Will Nebreda (guitar, production) and Tom Swirles (drums) bonded over their love of 90s/2000s alternative rock music, citing artists such as Muse, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead and Karnivool as influential to their writing and performance styles.

On the new release (The Lovers, I and II), drummer Tom Swirles says: “There's an element of beautiful chaos to the recording that superbly captures how it feels to perform the track in a live setting; an experience which is always a blast for the three of us!”
