Worm Disco Club in Wales : Bristol Takeover!!

We are very excited to be coming back to Cardiff!

Following our first event back in September, we return to The Globe for a 5 hr feast of musical niceness. Dancing, smiles, wicked tunes, amazing musicianship, added decor & real worm energy!

This one's a full Bristol takeover, presenting to you:

Dundundun (live) :

We are bringing an excellent live band along with us again. A unique mix of tropical Latin rhythms, saxophones, bass, synths, jazzy, funky psyched out party starting energy, Dundundun are a sort of Bristol super-group. Collectively these guys have played in No-Go-Stop, Babyhead, The Heavy, w/ Pete Josef, Zoobers, Xaman X ... the list goes on. With Dundundun they transform into a feet shuffling and hip shaking live act of multi-faceted proportions. Their tracks on 'Worm Discs' have seen them garner high praise and plays from the like of Tom Ravenscroft, Benji B, and Gilles Peterson, and seen remixes from Ishmael Ensemble, Red Rack Em' Rebecca Vasmant... Dundundun will be performing at 10pm to get the party started!

Marla Kether (DJ set):

In just a few short years Marla has become an alumi of Saffron, the bass player for the likes of Obongjayar, Ego Ella-May, and currently out on tour smashing it with Loyle Carner, she has graduated with a Chemistry Degree from Bristol Uni and has progressed as a producer and DJ. She's stylish. She's bad. We love her. Catch Marla playing her afro-grooves and beats after Dundundun!

Worm Soundsystem:

The Worm Disco Club boys have got more than a few records ... They bring a funky selection of heavy groovy sounds and genres from across the globe, spanning continents and decades. From old to new, expect proper wriggling dancefloor heat from the Caribbean, heavy Funk, Disco, to Afrobeat, Broken Beat, Brazilian stuff, UK Jazz and beyond. The worms will be doing their thing to keep you wriggling until the lights come up!!

This event will be a full on Worm Disco Club party curated with love & care given to the line-up, nice artwork, to the venue and our audience all in the name of a quality night out! We welcome music lovers and open minded people of all ages (+18) and backgrounds!

Expect decor, vinyls, worms, giraffes, visuals, sexy merch, drinks deals + a good time! We hope to bring a taste of what we do in Bristol, at Glastonbury festival and beyond!!
